Öh, wow.
A couple of days ago, Nokia released the Linux and GNOME based Nokia 770 tablet computer. It looks like a very nice platform for software development. On the same day, they also published another press release: Nokia announces patent support for the Linux kernel. Of course, it’d be even better if they’d change their stance on software patents altogether.
And a new tagline…
Heh, I’m glad this is over for Arla. Perhaps it’s time to suggest actually removing the offending code as well.
By the way, FUSE is nice, but I can’t get FUSE-J to work. More gdb joy… Yes, I’m using GCJ.
Update: Found and fixed the FUSE-J problem. (Calling AttachCurrentThreadAsDaemon multiple times, expecting to get the JNIEnv pointer filled in every time.) Mailing patch…
